Pro Painters Muskoka has proudly donated $36,000 to The Table Soup Kitchen Foundation in Huntsville, Ontario — a vital local charity that provides food, shelter, and community support to those in need. This contribution reflects the company’s deep commitment to giving back to the community that has supported its growth over the years.
As Muskoka’s leading painting company, Pro Painters believes that success means more than just great craftsmanship — it means strengthening the place you call home. The $36,000 donation will directly support The Table’s expanding initiatives, including their Food Bank, Soup Kitchen, Men’s Hostel, and The Table Plaza — a new community hub being developed at 12 Cann Street.
Founder and Executive Director Heather Cassie has led The Table since its beginnings in 2006, providing meals, emergency housing, and essential goods to thousands of local residents. With over 100 volunteers and programs like Food Rescue, the Exchange Store, and the Community Kitchen, the organization continues to be a cornerstone of compassion in Muskoka.
Pro Painters Muskoka’s owner, Charles Veilleux who grew up in the region, shared:
“We see firsthand how tough things can be for local families — especially during winter. Giving back to The Table is our way of investing in the heart of our community. Every coat of paint we apply helps make Muskoka more beautiful; this donation helps make it more caring.”
Why Community Giving Matters to us
Strengthening local support systems: Donations help The Table provide thousands of meals and emergency resources each year.
Encouraging volunteerism: Pro Painters’ team regularly participates in local community service projects.
Building long-term resilience: The funds contribute to sustainable growth of The Table Plaza, a hub for food security, training, and wellness.
Pro Painters Muskoka’s $36,000 gift is more than a donation, it’s a statement of solidarity. By supporting The Table Soup Kitchen Foundation, we're helping ensure that no one in Muskoka goes hungry or feels forgotten. Together, businesses and residents can continue building a stronger, more compassionate community.
